About this product
The Stanton RM-80 is a 4-channel professional stereo mixer with a rack-mountable form factor. It features analog RCA/coaxial inputs and outputs, and is in clean, great shape but untested. The mixer is silver and has an analog design. Priced at $74.99, it offers a low-cost entry into a multi-channel setup. However, the untested condition means functionality is not guaranteed. The MPN is RM80. This mixer is suitable for those needing multiple channels without digital features.
Our take
The RM-80 looks great on my rack – silver and clean. Four channels is nice for the price, but since it's untested, I took a risk. After plugging it in, the power light came on, but channels 3 and 4 were dead. I had to clean the pots and faders. Now it works, but not perfectly. For $75, it's a decent fixer-upper if you're handy. sound quality is clear when it works. The RCA-only connections are dated. If you want reliability, spend more on a tested unit. But as a project, it's rewarding.
